Jan Nelson, M.S.Ed. is the Creative Director of Toothfairy Island. She is a very talented and dedicated teacher who is the creative genius behind the development of the characters, story line, curriculum, and our peripherals. She also ensures that the TFI program meets the learning objectives of both the National Board of Education and the Academy of General Dentistry. |

MARY APARICIO, Translator for Toothfairy Island
Born in Michocan, Mexico, Mary Aparicio moved to the United States at the age of 6. After mastering the English language in one year, she began her career as a translator. First she helped her parents and then began working with non-English speaking students at the junior high and high school. She continues to act as a translator at Westminster High School. She has also worked as a health technician |

Michael Anderson, Ph.D., M.P.H. is President of Health Media Lab where he has been Principal Investigator on several grants from the National Institutes of Health. A respected consultant on the application of multimedia technologies to health promotion and disease prevention, he has previously served as Youth Health Program Director at National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and as Research Program Director at the National Cancer Institute where he initiated several research and education programs, including studies in the areas of high-risk youth. |
